Following on from a February update, which indicated Russian pea exports to China were to begin in March, Gaurav Jain looks at Chinese pea imports and what news of a first bulk vessel from Russia means for markets.
Since the first Russian pea cargoes were cleared by Chinese customs in March, monthly volumes have been increasing exponentially from 3,570 MT in March to 19,024 MT in May.
