Canadian production surge

Canadian farmers have dramatically increased their lentil seeding, contrary to initial expectations. The latest estimates, supported by the AgPulse yield model, project Canadian lentil production to reach 2.55 million metric tonnes (MMT), a remarkable 50% increase from the previous year. This surge is attributed to beneficial rains in the Canadian Prairies.
