Within the family of pulses, peas occupy a special place because of the size of pea markets, their versatility of use and their relative price. Both production and demand aspects of peas are undergoing significant shifts, and recent events may be amplifying the pending changes.

The GPC Dry Pea Global Outlook will address major aspects of both the supply and the demand side of the global pea balance sheet and highlight changes from previous years. Shifts in sourcing patterns over the past five years for some of the major destinations are ascertained.
